Pre-Order Policy
How the pre-order works
Founding Collection items are sold as pre-orders. Payment is taken when you place your order, and items are produced after the pre-order period closes.
Estimated shipping: within 60 days after the founding drop closes. The estimate shown at the time of purchase is recorded with your order.
Delays
The shipping estimate is an estimate, not a guaranteed date. If we expect your order to ship materially later than the estimate shown when you ordered, we will email you a revised estimate.
You may then cancel your order for a full refund. To cancel, reply to that email or write to support@nationalisbetter.com with your order number.
Cancellations before shipping
You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time while the Founding Edition is still open, before Founding Numbers are assigned. Write to support@nationalisbetter.com with your order number. The refund goes back to your original payment method.
Once the edition closes and numbers are assigned, orders go into production and can no longer be cancelled, except as described under Delays or if your item arrives defective, damaged or incorrect.
Founding Edition numbering
A confirmed payment reserves a place in the Founding 500. Founding Edition numbers are assigned by our system when the edition closes (all 500 sets sold, or the pre-order deadline), in the order payments were confirmed; the sets in one order receive consecutive numbers. Numbers are not chosen by customers.
If an order is refunded before the edition closes, its place is released and no number is assigned to it. If an order is refunded after the edition closes, its number is retired and never reused.
